Chris joined The Advanced Financial Group in 1999 to continue the solid and well-established business his family has built. He works with all types of investment products and is knowledgeable of Individual and Group Life, Health, Disability and other insurance products.

A Lufkin High School graduate, Chris earned his BBS from Texas A&M University in 1995 and his MBA with a specialization in finance from Sam Houston State University in 2000.

Chris’ involvement in the community is extensive.  Currently, he is an active member and Past President of the Lufkin Host Lions Club.  He is vice chair of the Volunteer Services Council of the Lufkin State Supported Living Center and treasurer of the Family Crisis Center of East Texas.  He belongs to the Angelina County Chamber of Commerce and is a 2002 graduate of Leadership Lufkin.  He also enjoys coaching his two boys in their youth sport activities.

In March 2010, Chris was appointed by the Governor from a list of candidates prepared by the State Board of Education to the Teacher Retirement System of Texas Board of Trustees.  His term will expire in 2015.

He and his family attend First Christian Church in Lufkin, where he is a member of the church’s administrative team.
