Chris has been providing wealth management, financial planning, and retirement plan consulting services to our client base for three decades. Chris is the President of The Advanced Financial Group, a company his family founded in 1994. He joined the team in 1999 to continue building on the relationships and trust his family had established with our clients. Chris is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) and works with his clients to find the right investment and insurance products to meet their individualized needs. Chris’s approach of getting to know his clients on a deeper level allows him to guide them to attain their personalized goals.
A Lufkin High School graduate, Chris earned his BBS from Texas A&M University and his MBA with a specialization in finance from Sam Houston State University. Chris’s involvement in the community is extensive. He previously served on the Teacher Retirement System of Texas Board of Trustees. He is an active member and past President of Lufkin Host Lions Club and is past Chairman of the Volunteer Services Council of the Lufkin State Supported Living Center. Chris is a graduate of Leadership Lufkin, and in 2014 was awarded the Jack O McMullen Silver Spike Award for his distinguished service to the community.
Chris and his wife, Tracy, a physical therapist, have two sons, Sloan and Dean. The Moss’s are involved with Lufkin Panther baseball, 4-H, FFA, and traveling to youth livestock shows. The Moss’s are members of First Baptist Church of Lufkin.
