Jim has more than 40 years’ experience working in the insurance industry. He has been a team member of The Advanced Financial Group since 1992. His focus at TAFG is on employee benefits as well as individual life and health products. A lifelong resident of Lufkin, Jim earned his bachelor’s from The University of Texas as well as a master’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University.
Jim has been a member of St Cyprians Episcopal Church in Lufkin since childhood. He has served his church on the vestry as well as on the St. Cyprians School Board for a number of years. Jim is an avid collector of books, sports memorabilia, and historical artifacts. He enjoys watching sports, his Texas Longhorns, and spending time with his eight grandchildren.
