John has a strong reputation and extensive experience in the financial services and insurance industry. A former public school educator, John has a wealth of experience serving school districts with ancillary benefits as well as retirement planning. He has been a trusted source of information and advice for school districts throughout east Texas for more than 30 years. John has a bachelors’ degree as well as a master’s in education from Stephen F. Austin State University.
John is a member of the Texas and National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He has earned his FINRA Series 6 and 63 securities registrations as well as his Group 1 insurance license. An avid golfer, John has served as President of The Crown Colony Country Club where he has been the Club Champion on several occasions. He has always been actively involved in supporting the children, organizations, and booster clubs of the school districts he serves.
John and his wife, Connie, live in Lufkin and attend Christ Congregational Church. They enjoy traveling, playing golf together, and watching the SFA Jacks.
